Greetings from Santiago de Compestela
Well, as you might guess I´ve lots to say (doesn´t this man ever shut up?) but now is not the time. We arrived this morning after a short 4 1/2 hour walk. Got our hotel changed (I need a new travel agent), went to the pilgrims mass, moving, had lunch, took a two hour nap, and are now shopping!!!
I´ll write tomorrow. Before I´ve just concentrated on the next day´s travel, and now I can enjoy myself in a town for its own sake.
But we´re here!!! Incredible.
But what do we do tomorrow when we don´t get up at 5 and walk at 6. Oh, well, that will take care of itself:-)
Until then, just wanted everybody to know we´re fine.

We'd like to share our perspective of the world with you.
It is often off-center and usually irreverent. The letters were written as a way for us to keep details of the trip fresh, but eventually started working their way to friends and family and became unwieldy to manage. Many of the letters have been lost along the way before I was convinced to organize them into this blog by my daughter.
The trips are archived into separate units with each date representing a trip and all the letters from that trip are included in the folder itself. They all read top down.
