Welcome to the travels of Carol and Jim.
We'd like to share our perspective of the world with you.
It is often off-center and usually irreverent. The letters were written as a way for us to keep details of the trip fresh, but eventually started working their way to friends and family and became unwieldy to manage. Many of the letters have been lost along the way before I was convinced to organize them into this blog by my daughter.
The trips are archived into separate units with each date representing a trip and all the letters from that trip are included in the folder itself. They all read top down.
Enjoy, and always remember to live large and prosper

Korea

In 1999, my son who was stationed in Korea as a G.I. met and married a Korean national, Anjin. Carol and I, my daughter, Angela and my mother flew to attend the wedding and a few days later, Jeff's mother and cousin arrived to make up the grooms part of the picture. The following letters were from two trips we made. Again, many of the letters disappeared into cyber space, but the one here will give a picture of our time there.
